The last batch is bad
I have been buying this model for years. The last batch I tried ( 2 pairs) are bad quality. The shoe won't last longer than 3 month.

Very Poor Quality!
I have purchased this exact same shoe several times in the past, and the quality has been getting increasingly worse each time I have purchased them. When the brand Hunter's Bay was making these shoes, they were of decent quality, and lasted several months. But the quality of the Dexter brand of this shoe is terrible! With my most recent pair, the sole on the left shoe completely split apart after only 1.5 months of normal, everyday use!!! This is absolutely unacceptable! DO NOT buy these shoes! Spend a little more money and get a higher quality shoe. I will NEVER buy these again.

Big dissapointment
Comfortable and good looking shoe, but didn't hold up at all. I wear these shoes everyday, and I do put on some mileage though it's predominantly indoors, but over just a couple of months, with no abusive use, the shoe separated from the sole at the rear. Taking a good look at it now, I can see that the left sole was also fixing to separate if I continued to use it, but hopping around on one foot is not my style. Back to an old pair of Payless oxford style shoes untill I find something new. That pair also was weak on quality, but with that one I had a good sole, but an upper that tore on both shoes.

Worst Buy
I use to really like Dexter Shoes but, now would not buy ever again. Fell apart after 3 months. Soles and heels wore down to nothing. Bad choice. Dexter, I am very disappointed in your product.

capped toe'd, more like cracked toe'd shoes!
The top part of the shoe (the cap toe part) started peeling and cracking everywhere. Also the sides are starting to split on my left pair, and are starting to look pretty bad. On the other hand the shoes are comfortable, after a long day on my feet. if you get these shoes, please be aware.

Not the best quality
My husband bought this shoe in a 12W last September and has been wearing them to work every day. Around March, we noticed the top part of the shoe in between the laces and the tip peeling and cracking everywhere. They are all cracked now and look pretty bad. While he says they're comfortable and we got them on sale, it wasn't a horrible loss, but we won't be buying these again.
