Worst Quality Boot Ever
So I purchased a pair of these Rugged Outback "Waterproof" and "Leather" boots during the first week of December. I have to admit, as soon as I put them on I realized that they were the most comfortable pair of boots I had bought in a very long time. But, now in the first week of January, the supposed 'leather' has cracked on both sides of each shoe, to the point that the fur lining is almost sticking through the outside of the boot.
Leather should not crack in this manner, these are cheaply made boots. The only true leather is on the tongue and toe of the boots (where it's really not needed).
So now after only a couple of minutes outside, my feet are wet and cold.
I would not recommend this product to anyone, ever.

Has anyone ever told you you have nice boots?
After a long hike to break them in, these boots are awesome. Have kept my feet nice and warm in temperatures down to almost 0 degrees F so far, while wearing only plain white cotton socks. Site says good down to -30 (C or F?), yet boots come with a sticker that rates them down to -20. No big deal. Boots are sturdy, and seem very well constructed. They are amazingly comfortable after breaking them in (not so much until then), and feel true to size. I usually have a wider foot than most - but got the normal size and they are perfect. The thinsulate padding just makes it nice and comfortable. I would wear them all the time if they didn't make me almost two inches taller. Will probably buy a pair for my brother too.
