Classic saddle oxford styling makes this a perfect shoe for school uniforms or basic casual wear. The upper laces up the front for a good fit. The outsole is flexible and skid resistant. 1/2" heel. Manmade materials. All Smartfit shoes are built with Tried and True Technology: wiggle room for toes, easy on/easy off and durable design.

Great Bargain, and OH SO CUTE!!! My 7 year old had a Daddy/ Daughter dance to attend last week on the 19th, and the theme was "Sock Hop 50's". Of course in order to abide by true SOCK HOP regalia, the saddle shoes were a must. Everyone loved them, and they fit her just right. She didn't complain about them, not once! The soles seem pretty sturdy, and have just enough cushion, in my opinion. And, it turns out that she has decided to wear them to school for the remainder of the school year. They are classics, and look great with her uniform. Why hadn't I bought some for her earlier!?!?? January 23, 2012

BEST SHOES EVER! I am 13 and go to a catholic shoes that requires black or white leather like shoes. Once i was told i could have the black/white combination oxfords i went everywhere trying to find them! i finally bought them online. These are the BEST and i say the BEST school shoes you can have. They are SO comfortable, its also skid resistant on the bottom so you dont have to worry about that. Great Value! These shoes were totally comfortable right out of the box. There was no need to break them in, and they are as comfortable as the best sneakers.
