Waste of $$ Sure these are a great price but after just 3 times of wearing these, the entire toe is rubbed off both shoes. I know he's a boy and very active but none of his other shoes are rubbed on the toe .They are cheap and flimsy. January 17, 2013

Horrible shoes I bought these shoes for my 7 year old son for school. He absolutely loved them. Now 6 weeks later the sole is literally falling off of the shoes. They look nice, work with any outfit. He said they were comfortable. But they don't last, and laces don't stay tied for nothing. I would never buy these again. November 9, 2012

Absolute Disappointment We usually really like all of our Payless shoe purchases for our kids, but this purchase was an absolute disappointment. After only a couple of days of wearing them, they were falling apart. The leather was peeling off, the tops near the toes were worn down and they literally were falling apart after these first few days of wearing them. After the first day of wearing them they also lost the powder-like look to the color, and were very shiny and did not have the same look as when I bought them, which is why I rated the style as a 1 star also. Do not buy these shoes!! It truly is a waste of money. The only reason I warn you is because at this age, they go through enough shoes as it is...it was so dissapointing to spend the money on these when after a week or so, it was too embarrassing for him to wear in public. They are now our "play-in-the-rain" shoes. October 28, 2012

Buyer Beware These shoes started tearing up a week after I bought them. The white tread started coming out all around the shoes. Don't waist your money because it's not worth it. September 7, 2012

Not good! I purchased 3 pair of these for my 3 sons, 1 pair fell apart in about 3 weeks. The other two pair both have holes in them and need to be replaced (the lasted a little longer, about 5 weeks). These are cheaply priced for a reason, they are cheaply made! May 14, 2012

Worst pair of shoes I bought these for my grandson last month, but he only put them on today for the first time. He is 5 and typical boy. When he came home from school today, the entire front toe on each shoe had scrapped off. The shoes are black and the toes are now gray. They were not expensive but I did hope they would last until he got out of school in 2 and 1/2 months. I would take them back but I no longer have the receipt. March 13, 2012
