shoes ripped!
horrible, horrible shoes!!! My friend and I both bought these shoes on the same day together. within 2 months she got huge holes on both of the shoes to the point that her whole foot could fit out of them. a month later I started to get a hole in my shoe. These shoes are very cheaply made. They are pretty comfortable and look better than some of the other safetstep shoes, but the quality is just plain bad!

blah
I have bought many pairs of shoes from both shoes for crews and payless, i work in a deli and we clean our floors with a hose. Every night i come home with soaked feet and socks its not plesant. I have owned this pair for about 2 weeks and there already broke down from the water and start to smell bad because they dont have time to dry out before i go back to work and soak them again. So my point is that i wish that one of these companys would make a stylish work shoe that will hold up to lots of water and grease , so i dont have to buy 15 pairs a year because its not best for my pocket book like it is for yours. Does anyone else have this problem

Cute comfortable shoe
I have been waiting a couple weeks to write this because I wanted to give my shoes a fair shot before giving them a review. I bought these because they were the cutest slip resistant shoes they had in the store and they were also comfortable. I must say, expect the shoes to be quite stiff the first few days you wear them. They do require a few days to be "broken in" but once they are, they are pretty darn comfy! They have excellent grip. I work at a movie theater so the grip is constantly being tested with popcorn oil and butter spills. So far, I'm happy with these shoes! And the customer service that I received while shopping in the Silverdale, WA store was amazing! The clerks were always offering to help and the lady who rung me up showed genuine interest in what I'd be using the shoes for and explained the return policy in case I decided I didnt like them....but i like them-no need for the return policy :)

Feels like walking on bruises
I've had these shoes for two months and was trying to give them a shot. I got gel inserts and arch support inserts and figured I could survive the "breaking in" phase. Boy, was I wrong. My feet hurt so badly after four hours of my eight hour shifts that I find myself looking for excuses to sit down or stand on the outside edge of my feet to give the rest a break. I don't have money to keep buying these terrible shoes, and I need comfortable shoes for work. What am I to do? I guess I'll try yet another style and see how it goes. I have totally normal feet, but since the soles are practically nonexistent it feels like I'm walking around at work without shoes. Honestly, I have two pairs of 4inch heels that are more comfortable.

painful
I work in a restaurant and must be on my feet for hours at a time. I can't wear these shoes for more than about three hours before my feet are killing me. It's sad because I love the look of these shoes and I have not slipped on water or oil.

I like 'em!
I got these shoes at least 2 years ago. The soles are still in near-perfect condition, but the leather tops are finally giving out. To show you how much I like them, I just bought another pair today. When I saw a pair in a different size nearby, I was so happy and had a sales associate dig high and low to find a pair in my size. Yay!
I do wear arch inserts in them, as I have to do with every pair of shoes I own, so perhaps that would help those who feel the shoes hurt. Also, the new pair is considerably stiffer than the old pair, but I am confident that they will break in just like the old faithful pair did.
I am really puzzled by those who had problems with the soles. As I mentioned before, my soles have almost no wear with the exception of a bit on the back edge of the heel where the shoes rest as I drive.
A nice look, a bit dressier than a running shoe but nice enough that I wear them just about anywhere, even to church with pants.
